Either way, you want to claim that income is yours? You'd have a better chance claiming that most of Kobe Bryant's wealth belongs to the people. Or Steve Jobs. Or Mark Zuckerberg.

When did I ever even suggest such a thing? We're talking a mere and modest increase in their contribution to the country....

BTW, in 2007 the top 1% AGI represented 23% of all (not far off from my 25%)...my statement was about GDP...

Effective rate top 1% then is 23.3%

Effective rate bottom 50% is 2.6%

Sort of shoots a hole in the Buffet theory.
