I've been liquidating money out of my money market brokerage accounts over the past few months into very attractive CDs (2.5%-3% APY) to the point where I only have 10% of my net worth in money market now. I do think there is risk in money market accounts, but I'm sure the US Gov't will probably cover any problems or else the "endgame" will come, as you say.

It has been a very good year for me trading wise. However, my trades are down over 90% from a year ago. To beat the machine, one must be at one's computer monitoring these markets during trading hours and that has been difficult for me. I have lots of responsibilities and a business to run. Moreover, during the summer, I'm working during the bulk of trading hours.

The market is only a leaf from my life.

Don't ever forget, "Cash is King" in a secular bear.
