My post was to clear up your post that Bush never released oil. Bush did little regarding oil...so little that the term oilman is humorous.

Companies are very involved with growth markets like China, India, and Brazil and have been very active there. It is more economical to engineer from India than here in the US and that work will increase abroad.

Construction is very weak. Residential and commercial is very weak, and municipal work is postponed.
Our infrastructure is crumbling and a transportation bill must be passed. It appears that all we will see are extensions. The spending has benefitted those of us in the industry by moving forward jobs. These are temporary jobs and everyone I know in this sector is laying off workers, soon and are concerned about next year.

The little tax play of Obama accomplishes little. Either go for more revenues via taxing most everyone, or cut taxes further. That depends upon one's belief...the "buffet" tax is for his campaign, not for our country.
