Newt may very well be the most capable...he certainly is intelligent and knows how to move people in Washington.

Lorne

I missed the most recent debate------caught the one before this week..

I still want a winning 'combination' of Pres. and VP
and I want two hard hitters plus a Secretary of State
that has America's interest in mind and not that of the UN
or other nations.

I want two candidates who will mince no words in stating the obvious for America.
I don't want Obama or another Obama in philosophy.

If any of the present candidates will be a clone of Obama, Pelosi, Reid or Kerry then that needs to be
revealed now-------also let's throw in the Clintons and Sibelius.

There are still two people that have yet to declare one way or another--------Trump and Palin.
Both are articulate ------------Trump is a master at stating a position and pushing a person into
giving a response. Trump is tough. He has even talked of doing a third party candidacy as an independent; at this time I see no indication he will do so---------and I would hope he will not do so as that would a scenario similar to when Perot ran and Clinton won.

I too like Cain; however, I don't believe he is ready for the Presidency---- Vice President perhaps.

I do see a combination in which either Palin or Bachmann is the choice for Vice President absent either of them being the Presidential Nominee.

Very likely, we will see a compromise combination--------------much as we had with Reagan and Bush.
Reagan was a true blue conservative------while Bush of the CIA fame was imo not. Bush made the promise of "No New Taxes" at the GOP Convention in 1988 and failed to keep his promise. That was the reason that Ross Perot ran and the 'no new tax supporters' supported Perot.

There are a lot of players here---------so let's see what this national chess board produces.

This is today's ramblings ----subject to change another day
