<<At least QNTM says something every so often.>>

webb: I agree. SEG didn't say boo last qtr and stunned the Street with 8 cents/sht vs Street estimates of 37 cts/shr.

Now the Street is petrified of the dd companies. With WDC adding to the fire the Street doesn't want anything to do with us.

We'll just have to wait it out. If qntm delivers in Jan, at some point the Street will start to take notice. Dale

Webb,

You are assuming that QNTM gave info to an analyst. That is unlikely, IMO. The analyst (HQ) simply looked at Seagate having trouble at their high-end products and WDC has cut estimates, and so the analyst issued a new rating, IMO. The analyst may not have even issued the rating to his clients yesterday.

Thinking about the market price of such a strong company everyday is not a good idea, IMO. I would be worried if SEG price became $15 and QNTM dropped below $20. The fundamentals are in favor of QNTM; other competitors are being beaten up.

Webb: EXACTLY! Tell Michael Brown. I sent him a fax today with my thoughts. Completely tapped out margin today and bought 500 shares at 26 3/8. It can't get any worse, right??? scott
