Where is safe? In the end we all die. There is no safe in this life----but to get to actual intent of your question, ever see the movie "On The Beach", where is safe in such a scenario as this:where global fallout has reached end point. Fred Astaire at beginning is making his choice on how to die---the ending, the last 2 minutes stunning. This is an alltime classic, with Astaire/Peck/Gardner. For those who wish, here is the last 10 minutes of that movie.It was released in 1959. youtube.com Is this scenario possible??? Scientifically yes. Will it happen? Probably NOT, but what will happen, would make the living wish it had. In fact in the dark ages and middle ages at it worst, suicide rates were very high on the one hand, and on the other hand people sold their babies to be slaughtered and their meat sold to those that could afford the price----yes this is true, part of the history of the great western civilization, truth is Europe has one long history of horror To survivalist i don't even own a gun. To them i say: It is better to be dead than to "live" RUNNING SCARED. So get over it, you are going to die, that is a promise---so lose fear of death, i say you only then are free.
