D stands for New. That raises a new question. What does new mean?

D stands for "DOPES".

They honored the believers.

GREG:
The "D" is a symbol NASDAQ uses to let everyone know their has been a split. Just like they use "F" for a foreign based stock, or "E" for late filings. NASDAQ does this for bookkeeping purposes on these stocks: They do not want people mixed up with the pre and post split prices, so they just add a new letter for 30 days then it reverts back to the old symbol.

'D' indicates dividend

the kind of dividend you bend over and grab your ankles for

market makers are thieves - you folks shouldn't have believed ATEC and
ATEC was even more foolish to have believed that market makers that this
was good for them - they can't even make the $5 limit for NASDAQ listing
now

sorry state of affairs when you trust a market maker to do the right
thing
