We are where we are today because of people in power with your mindset. Even if left wing policies have failed, you stick with them, ignoring a right wing policy that has worked in the past, and is still working in some localities. Obama should be thrown out on his ear, the unemployment rate is not getting better, even minorities unemployment has skyrocketed under Obama. Wouldn't you expect black unemployment to improve under a black president and democrat Congress? Black teenagers unemployment stands at 41%. Good to see the congressional black congress calling Obama out, but it remains to be seen if Obama can pay them off and regain their support.

I couldn't agree more.

Regardless of one's political leaning, if you can plainly see something does work, you stop doing that and do something different even it doesn't align ideologically with what has been your view.

We really need to look at every major agency and policy agenda and decide whether it is working or not, and make changes accordingly.

That means Keynesian economics needs to be dead and buried (trillions). Dept of Ed. needs to go ($100B/year). The TSA needs to go. The Dept of Defense needs to be scaled back to reasonable levels ($100B/year easy). The War on Drugs needs to be discarded and replaced with something that actually helps solve the problem ($50-100B/year, easy). Cains idea of starting over with EPA really appeals to me ($10B/year).

The problem is that no candidate is willing to put it all on the table.

Not the fault of liberal policies, unless you believe fairy tales about banks being forced to lend to minorities leading to the collapse of our economy thirty years later.
