Well sweets, I agree with your read for the most part

My only qualifier is that if there has been enough of a shift in sentiment--and I don't know the latest sentiment numbers-- then we could see a significant rally occur with everyone expecting it to be short-lived and it just keeps going.

However, I think that the odds favor another pull-back---possibly to the DJIA 200dma -- which if it is not too sharp should create momentum divergences from which point a more sustainable rally will commence.

I am looking to establish long postions in individual equities if this scenario plays out.

Judy, you were sure dead on when you mentioned shorting the drillers a week or two ago, I'm sorry I didn't take your advice. I'm finding it difficult to understand why they are taking such a hit. I could understand UTI and a few others but RDC,CDG,GLM,ESV,PKD amd PDS are all way undervalued. However, it IS happening and it doesn't just look like window dressing. hmmm...
