Haven't many of the drillers tracked with the market since Oct 27? I think for example, that CDG, DO, TBI have. Some have held up better than others. My take is that while the market may not be able to take them up, it could take them down (further). It is this possibility that complicates any decision now about jumping back in, IMHO. Some observers predicting more sell off are starting to mention a possible drop in worldwide demand for oil (slower growth in Asia, etc.), in addition to unsustainable and overvalued prices, to bolster their case. Don't you think there is a connection beginning to be made? Or is it just piggy backing on current events to give their position more weight?

Regards
