Detroit is a Phoenix getting ready to rise again........and unlike the city in AZ it has tons of water to fuel that rise'

Maybe a mix of the revival in Pittsburgh mixed in with a little Chicago is more realistic?

When I say rise like a Phoenix, I meant the bird; not the city.

The reason for my comparison to the city was to point out that Detroit has a great deal more water than Phoenix.......an issue that I think will play a bigger role in migratory patterns in this country going forward.

And I think Detroit's revival will be as significant as its downfall.........and will be far more meteoritic than either Pittsburgh or Chicago. But who can be sure? These things are far too organic to pinpoint accurately.

Phoenix, the bird: near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again.
