Paul,

You probably have a college degree but you do not read very well and you seem hung up on your presumed superiority which has got to be a hugh disadvantage for you in the real world. That is why you never got the meaning of the NC joke.

I said, I know several ASIC designers who view ASIC design as purely digital and have been successful in their careers due to their ability to work long hours at a tedious job. They do not have college degrees. They do not have much knowledge of electrical design and have made blunders in the electrical design area outside of the ASICs they have worked on.

You seem upset with this statement of fact because you seem to think I am implying that all the years you spent in school may have been a waste. Well those are not my thoughts. They are your own doubts. You do not have to get a college degree to get rich or become successful. I know people with 2 years of high school who have a net worth > 20 M. Michael Dell has a little college and he has a net worth > 4B.

Well enough said....
