Gaston,
I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of BA's backlog. The question I have is how many delay penalties can they be hit with (I've heard up to $1B in the next quarter). But, in the long run, where else are the Americans and Deltas going to go for their planes?

Factors behind my rationale for BA as a long-term buy:
a) Existing fleets are aging and require replacement
b) Huge barriers for new competitors to enter the market
c) No real strong existing competitors
d) Airlines have been making money recently making new plane purchases easier to cost justify
e) Long term the Chinese will buy an awful lot of planes.
