Yes. In spite of the fact that I've had a string of winning bets, I am not increasing the size of my bets. In fact, if the market goes down, and my current short positions make a lot of money, I will be steadily less willing to short. I doubt I will be shorting much at all, if/when SPX gets below 1000. At that point, it will be time to start going long quality stocks paying 4-5% dividends.

<it's still so damned popular> Isn't that true for every stock, as it peaks? If anything, I consider that a contrary indicator. I remember, in 2008, extended discussions about which countries, sectors, stocks were "immune" to the macro problems. In the end, nothing and nobody was immune.
