Tom,

There was an interesting article in the Houston Chronicle (main Houston newspaper) on the front cover of the business section. It was two pages long on Richard Rainwater and his Cresent REITs' HUGE presence in Houston office and hotel space. In summary, Richard said Houston will be the place to be for 10 years out because energy will be where it is. He said worldwide demand will only get larger and larger and the U.S.A will be the leader. He goes on to mention Houston will lead the U.S as the energy capital and office space rates will go up dramatically.

In summary, he is very very bullish on oil and gas and does not see a slow down anywhere in sight. This guy has had the midas touch and did things when people told him it would not work. I will take his word over 99% of the analyst because he is putting billions of dollars where his mouth is.
