Nobody takes an Obama promise as meaning anything, do they? — Nicholas Ballasy has even more Obama Lies News this morning: “C-SPAN founder and CEO Brian Lamb told The Daily Caller on Thursday that President Barack Obama ‘never’ asked C-SPAN to air negotiations over his health care bill, despite making it a campaign promise during the 2008 presidential election season. ‘The president said they were all going to be on C-SPAN. He never asked us and we don’t work for the government. We would have covered it but it was just interesting that he assumed, “they’re going to be on C-SPAN; they’re going to be on C-SPAN.” I never thought they would,’ he said in an interview on September 22 at the National Building Museum, where he was being honored with the Navy Memorial’s ‘Lone Sailor Award’ for his service in the U.S. Navy.” Well, why would Obama even try to back up a promise? Once he says words, they just float away into the air, far far away from whichever words he says after that. No two Obama assertions have anything to do with each other, let alone the outside world into which they’re released.
