Re: This is just the opening bid! Schmedley, I hope your correct on this call. Amati's Technology as the standard for ADSL for the next 10+ years, plus Amati's Engineering Talents are worth far more than $400 Mill. After talking with TI at Supercomm, I've always had in the back of my mind that TI might make a play for Amati, though after the Westell Merger announcement, I erased those thoughts. Our only hope here is another offer from a LU or COMS, with TI bidding up the price again. TI will not let Amati fall into another COs hands IMHO. Waiting to hear Pat's uncensored comments :^} Good Luck to us all. JW@KSC
