This could be the beginning of a huge monster depression. Only way out for the US and Euro is a massive stimulus and in Europe printing money to rescue the banks, which would mean risking inflation. So we either risk inflation or fall into a monster deflationary depression, IMO.

Most western political leaders and many people seem to be opting for the depression, or think it will not happen if we just leave everything to the market.

I am one of a few who thinks not doing anything is a big mistake. But my view is in a minority.
