If something is not important to you, its intrinsic importance is not diminished for it is important to many others.

You must rank importance in term of numbers. For instance: Helen Clark is very important to you. Maybe even for all 4 million New Zealanders, but it is of no importance in the whole scheme of things.

Numbers matters a lot. Minnows do not matter.

Another example: QCOM may matter a lot to you. In the whole scheme of things it does not matter at all.

Time is precious, thus invest your time. brain power, attention and effort on things that matter.
