>And like it or not, this is his economy now and his Keynesian policies have been an abysmal failure.

How so? You don't have 30% unemployment now. That's what Bush put the US into. He slept at the wheel and led the country into a possible depression. Obama's policies have lead to slow growth in jobs since Chimp left office. The alternative would've been a deflationary death spiral, total failure of the banks, massive job losses beyond your imagination. You want that? If the free market ideologues got their way, that's what would've happened.

"..we'll look elsewhere for someone who's stronger, more committed, knows how to hold their ground, and knows how to knock heads together to get their way"

Personality instead of policy? Last time you did that, you got W. How'd that work out?

So I'm through with Obama. Bring on a new Prez, just not Perry or Bachmann please.

Yeah, so who is that. If not Obama, then who? We have seen what states which had D Guvs in 2008 and R in 2010 have not moved their states either.

He still leads the R candidates. But the lead is too small and hence uncomfortable for an incumbent. It would be worthwhile to see if the Americans would give him the nod with him saying that he has succeeded in arresting the free fall of the economy and that the next 4 years, he would turn it around. And then if Romney is the nominee, I am sure he will tear apart Romney's record as "CEO" of Bain Capital where he laid off workers to make the numbers look good, similar to what is happening on Wall Street where Corporate/Wall Street America looks good but Main Street does not.

Interesting year ahead. I am keeping my options open but am not ready yet to pull the plug on Obama. At this point I am not going to give "incumbency" any advantage/handicap in 2012.

Wow. You've been lurking all this time so you can make such a silly post. Why is it silly? Because you are ready to give back the country to the same assholes who got us in this mess in the first place. I bet you want to vote so badly for Romney you can taste it....and all because he looks so much like a president should.....someone right out of Central Casting. Too bad Romney can't agree on a position for more than two weeks at a time. Is he anti abortion and anti Romney care this week? Who knows? You have to ask him. This dude will do anything ,including kissing your ass, so he can be president. And you like that shit? Damn! The last time someone impressed you like that it got us Bush and GOP control of the gov't.

And who is the GOP........its not Romney.......not by a long shot. The Romney-like Rs lost control of the GOP a while back. Its the extremist crazies who control the GOP.........the Perrys and Bachmanns. And let me clue you in.........they are very dangerous people. I can't imagine what they will do to this country if they get control.

As for Obama, yeah, he ain't the Magic Negro. And he can be faulted for trying to unite this country........an impossible task at the present time. If that makes him flighty in your eyes, so be it.

But anyone who is willing to vote for an R because Obama didn't meet his/her HIGH expectations deserves to get another GW Bush scenario. You made the mistake once.......it wouldn't surprise me if you make it again.

Very silly post, MM. I thought you were smarter than that. Apparently, I was wrong.
