That's a little harsh, but I see her point. The man said at one point that he would quit and throw his support to Gore if the election looked like it was going to be close. He didn't do that, and his presence on the ballot in Florida was obviously one of the things that tipped the balance in that election.

Had Nader not insisted on playing his fantasy-land game to the end, we would never have had a recount in Florida. We all would have known the results of the election that night. That alone would have been a major win for everyone.
