Myth, to answer your question, No.... I think most Met fans are sick of the Yankees winning and would like to see a losing season for a change. I'm on board with that. But that didn't happen. Why root for Detroit over the Yankees in the ALDS? Wanting the Yankees to lose in the regular season is not enough to have them lose against Detroit here. Verlander is Mr. Invincible, the Fed, the guy no team wants to face because he has unhittable stuff and is great. Well, I think the Yankee line up can blast him out of the game before 5 innings are complete. What's so special about Detroit? Or Tampa? Or Texas?

Ok, there was some magic in Ray land, but let's see if they can carry that over in the ALDS? My pick is that they will.
