Check the table and see the number of jobs when Obama took office verses 31 July 2011. Looks like they are down about 2.4 million.

grusum9, I agree with your predictions regardless who is president. We continue to have economic problems ever since (1) the financial melt-down, {2) lower taxes, (3) reduced regulations on the financial institution, (4) bank defaults, (5) house defaults, (6) two wars off budget, (7) increased US debit, (8) reduced social security payments to recipients caused by increased medicare cost, and (9) increased inflation.

I wish there was a solution!! Hopefully, the Congress Super Committee of 12 can come up with a balance and solution.
