You don't read too well, the Phase 1 Flat Tax on individuals and businesses would ultimately be replaced by a consumption tax in Phase 2, in which those who cannot afford to pay don't have to buy non essential items...

Hi sandeep,

I disagree with your viewpoint.

1) If you enjoy the many benefits of being an American and living in America - you should have skin in the game equality for all is an underlying premis in USA.

2) There is a huge underground work force that pay nothing and benefit greatly this covers those that barter and drug business - IT IS TRILLIONS and they free ride.

3) If you are successful and make a lot of money - our tax system is very progressive and it automatically requires more taxes to be paid. That is fair also. Most people that make a lot of money also spend more and they pay more again.

4) eliminate all loop holes and tax crony legislation - ALL OF THEM.Keep it simple.Eliminate the IRS and have all of business collect the taxes on a realtime daily basis.Keep it fair and simple and watch the world's hard workers come to America and prosper.

It IS the AMERICAN WAY !!

JMHO

Bob

"9,9,9 plan is a joke. I went to his site, it reads like a joke too. As much as I like to keep my money and not pay the govt the ransom, having a flat consumption tax raises taxes from people who can't afford it."

You are not a good researcher. Leno asked him about this. These people ALREADY pay over 15% for payroll taxes when you consider the employer side of what is paid for the employee. The employer could continue to pay the same rate for the employees and then they only a few more percent to get up to 9%... Overall, they see taxes (combined payroll and income) by about 6%.
