I don't consider it a "soft patch" It is the "dog days of summer." Tomorrow starts the best quarter of the year. Hiring is expected to pick up. People saved up for Christmas shopping all year and they are about ready to go out and spend. except if you are a Teaper. In which case you will put a large chick of it into political donations.

for your information, ECRI has ALWAYS been right except once in the 1930's. ECRI never said there was a recession last year. They said they were getting confusing set of signals. now they are ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that there is going to be a recession next year, with unemployment possibly going above 10%.
