Paul,

Call me what you want, because another saying goes "stick and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt"!

Now to your questions, which is interesting since you do not believe in TA! First of all short term is looking at daily charts and long term is looking at weekly charts! Second question about general market conditions, if I see things in FA of the general market I may take action, but seldom have to when I'm going with the trend!

We use to have a Financial Adviser up until about 8 years ago, when our accountant told us one day after looking at some of our accounts that we manage ourself that we should do our own investing and trading! Saves us management fees and have beat the general market as a whole by a long shot! We do have alot more short term gains that we have to pay taxes on, but our core holdings are doing just as well with us doing it also!

Please do not get mad for not wanting to start anything, but if you do, so be it!

Hank
