Every business that ever existed -- including the most bloated, loss-making, obsolete corporation you can think of -- is light, nimble, and responsive to executive decisions when compared to the federal government. What use is it to have someone who knows what direction we should should go, but is unable to find the right levers to make anything move?

I think Cain would make an excellent member of the next President's cabinet. I'd like to see him be a fabulous success running a section of the government before I'd take a chance on having the country run by a guy that sounded great but with no experience as a governor or other significant political leader.
We went with the sounds great and will learn on the job route in 2008.

I could argue that Cain would select an advisor that would guide him through the politics. One of the talents of most successful CEOs is the ability to identify and create teams of talented people

Isn't this the excuse the Democrats used for Obama?
