Yes, it is wonderful we have so many good new books explaining the complex world of modern physics.

No, the only principia I am familiar with is Principia Mathematica which is a bunch of mathematical proofs overhauling math and done by Russell and Whitehead in 1916?. Both of whom turned from math to philosphy in their 50's; and both of whom, had a huge influence on my thinking during my formative years.

One of my favorite ideas came from whitehead who said: "we have this tendency to divide the universe between the organic and inorganic, I believe consciouness is a third system in the universe".

I disagree that it was easy for folks to get the ideas of Newton or Maxwell -- in those times -- people did, though, why? They were able to read more than a sound bite --

Of course, it is easier to get the ideas now after many have digested and thought about them and written so much to make them accesible.

the same is true of modern physics.
