I think CC pitched on 2 days rest when he was with the Brewers. Verlander has been so incredibly babied his whole career to even try do that. How many times has he pitched on 3 days rest?

If it wasn't for the rain, I think the Yankees would have lost the game. Verlander was very wild in the first inning, but he probably would've settled down. He had electric stuff; he just couldn't locate it over the plate. Pitches were breaking sharply all over the place. The Yankees had a lot of swings and misses in that first inning.

The fans at the stadium were in pure animal form last night. It was funny. I was wearing some of my NY Giant (I don't own Yankee gear) gear.

It is now 4 games in 4 nights and I would start Hughes over AJ. Tigers are in trouble.
