re: Wouldn't you say a share holder has something of a relationship with InteL?

Isn't this site called "Silicon Investor"?

What would you expect on such a site than a discussion among shareholders, those who are contemplating purchasing shares or those with a general interest in the semi market?

Surely, you can do better than this!

Wouldn't you say a share holder has something of a relationship with InteL? As to employees etc they can be anywhere.

You're aggressively missing the point. Leave aside any/all of your assumptions about "relationships." Of all the posters contributing here over the last couple of years, who has been able to accurately predict and forecast various events with AMD the company? Those are the people you want on an investment board like this. Who gives a flying frog what their "allegiances" are?

Wouldn't you say a share holder has something of a relationship with InteL?

So you would wish to exclude from this board anyone who has any INTC holding? What about the S&P500? Anyone who has any position there has a position in INTC. Would you exclude them too? FYI, my INTC holding is 2.6% of my Portfolio. I have positions in 40 other issues. Many more if you count the basket of stocks held by my ETF's.

The whole point of the "open and free discussion" policy here, as opposed to other AMD boards, is to allow everybody to participate, as long as they remain civil. You don't have to be an AMD cheerleader. If you want censorship then there are other AMD boards where people are banned if they don't support the AMD view. You know where to find them.
