I'm certain you don't remember how much fun the media made of George HW Bush when confronted with a supermarket scanner -- 10 years after they were in common use -- and was "amazed by the technology". Oh, how they loved it. So, don't get balled up if we want to howl a bit about Michelle Obama "shopping at Target" as First Lady. Its no where near analogous. Why would you bring up such a phony comparison. HW Bush was from another generation where men don't go into supermarkets.......it was considered women's work. That's why the press made such a big thing of it. If Obama was intent on making a big thing, she would have made a grand entrance.......SS running interference before her........even closing down the store so she could shop in peace. One of Laura Bush's biggest complaints on the talk show circuit was how everybody was watching her every move.......how she could never do the things she could do before she was First Lady. Its a loss of freedom........and a hard thing to handle.........very understandable except to partisans like yourself. They are so childish and immature its not to be believed. I keep thinking of that scifi story you recommended I read...........and I get scared big time. If you're scared it is because you're a pansy. Damn. Do you even know the story I am discussing?
