From what I've read there is one Columbia student who remembers him .... another Occidental transfer to Columbia ... they roomed together for a short time. Phil Boemer:

While there are a lot of still unanswered questions about how, exactly, Obama ended up with a high-end education on a pauper's budget, it concerns me much more deeply that the man was elected without the slightest hint of a track record that would warrant the most important job in the world.

That this individual -- one who was grossly incompetent for the job -- could get elected, well, it is just astonishing and speaks loudly to the gullibility of the American electorate. That he is even in the running for a second term is UFB.

As the economy continues to falter as a result of his bungling, I still think the Ds are going to pressure him to walk away from it, running Hillary instead; but he's too arrogant to do that.
