UW, This may seem counterintuitive, but it's probably good that this has happened. Clearly the boundaries are being pushed and a serviceman showing himself in uniform in a porn movie will offend just about everyone. Notice that I didn't say "gay porn". This isn't a gay thing. It would be just as much of an offense if a straight serviceman was in a porn movie wearing his uniform. I'm sure we don't see 100% on this one. I personally have no issue with a gay man or woman wanting to serve their country. Anybody who is willing to pick up a rifle and fight for the USA is ok in my book. I believe that the issue is not about wanting to serve the country. I believe that those non-combat military jobs look like a mighty cushy career and the liberals are pushing the gay community to seek those jobs as entitlement jobs. And obviously, they are not going to want to curb their lifestyle if they are just going into the military for a job. For me, I like to draw parallels to show the absurdity of the position that is being take. If a straight couple wants to flaunt their swinger lifestyle on base, should it be tolerated? if not, why not? And if not, why should a gay couples lifestyle be allowed to be flaunted? The problem with the whole gay rights thing is that they aren't looking for equality, they are looking for special privilege. And now back to the good thing.....the pendulum is going to swing back the other direction...hard. The liberals got overly ambitious under Obama's reign. The mainstream people who normally would just let things go are now sick and tired of the B.S. Obama wanted change. Wait until he sees the change coming as a result of his attempted destruction of this country.
