Re: Evening Star Pattern

Hi Paul, thanks for the comments.

First off, keep in mind that my Evening Star diagnosis was "a stretch". I'm not claiming that one occurred in any real sense. I was just trying to find any pattern that might be considered bullish like Kevin reported.

What I see on my chart is that if you combine the Thursday white body and the Friday white body, you get a long white body stretching from 76.0625 to 78.75. As stated before, Monday's black body gapped up to a small white body from 80 to 80.4375. Tuesday's black body goes from 80.25 (inside Monday's body) back down to 78.75 (inside Friday's body). This fits your (and everyone elses) definition of the Evening star pattern.

I readily admit that Tuesday's black body _barely_ makes it back inside the mutant Thurs/Friday white body, but since I stretched the rules once already - what they hay? ;-)

Thus my mention of the Evening Star pattern.
