I'm in a union. I have great benefits, pay, etc. and rights. I can't be jerked around by some insane boss, there are actually rules and employee rights.
My kids' generation (20, 30s) aren't going to have that, they paid enormous amounts for their education and the job prospects are are low paying, no benefits , job security etc, basically they are debt slaves. Lots of their peers served up as cannon foddor in Iraq and Afghan for defending corporations (not their country). These protestors seem to get the sh*t sandwich they've been served up, at least those who haven't been lobotomized by Fox news (which eerily is broadcast in many public spaces).
I'm surprised there aren't more protests.
On my nazi tour in Munich a few weeks ago the tour guide reminded us of how Hitler villified and hated the unions.

The technique is quite simple and obvious --pit average Joe against average Joe instead of directing the anger where it belongs.
