John - you are talking about mgt posting to these boards or rare situations like OVIS (or whatever it is called these days.) Hell, if it can be done by poor saps like myself, CATS is gonna to to $20/shr by Thanksgiving <vvvbg>

Seriously, you ve actually nailed it pretty good, for you sez "particular employee's drove there company stock prices by systematic use of these boards."

Thus far, I ve not seen CATS employees (or even its competitor's employees) showing up. But face it, CATS got nailed b/c of poor timing, i.e., its immanent recovery was clobbered by the SE Asian problems (which weigh heavily on the chip/cap sectors) and the general mkt correction. Unless CATS can perform, why would people not buy INTC or AMTL or even IDTI instead? I don't mean to trash CATS, for I do ve a substantial position in it, but facing reality is the good step to be a smarter investor in the future.

All: Earnings are out and their UGLY !!

Shrinking Gross Margins and Inventory write downs this stock should get hammered tomorrow. Mike is doing a great job of double-speak. In one paragraph he says how important the Flash market is to Cats and then in the next paragraph he attributes losses to tight pricing in the Flash market.

As far as I can see CATS is quickly approaching the need to dip into the restricted cash. I need to look up the conditions that were associated with dipping into the restricted cash.

It seems to me that CATS is currently at about BV. Unfortunately BV is mostly Inventory so I'd expect to see this discounted. Should see support at around $1.

Happy Trading everyone
