Scherzer was virtually unhittable by the same daunting lineup that hammered the Tigers the day before. Funny how that happens in sports, especially baseball.

By winning game 1, it looked to many like the Yankees had a stranglehold on the series as Verlander, thanks to the rain out, would likely be faced only once!

With Verlander going in game 3 at home, Tigers are now well positioned to go a game up! Sure hope so anyway!

Somebody please knock out those $200 million plus Yankees!
