Ted's not unemployed, I don't think. He's a day trader and does some real estate stuff, I believe. It's not like he's not paying the bills. He tried to change careers in midlife; a lot of people do that. My parents both did several times, and the average person now does it seven times during the course of his/her working years. Sometimes it doesn't work out.
