Most of the facts of Intel's business practices are not in dispute. AMD came up with legally self-serving interpretations of said business practices. Could that qualify as a "lie" or just aggressive litigation? Sounds like a lawyer's playground.

That's a very good way of saying it. Most of the facts are not in dispute but AMD's spin that it was all a dastardly plot by Intel to destroy AMD, was pure spin. Their throwing themselves before the Bureaucratic institutions seeking new legal standards, was entirely based on their claims of victimhood. Does AMD seem like such a victim now that they had over a Billion dollars handed to them and the protection of the EU and the FTC, yet they've failed miserably since getting this protection? This is exactly how Intel described things. AMD failed because of their own blunders. Now that Intel is finaly put in their place and "hobbled" by new regulations, they are more successful than ever. Just what advantage did Intel give up who's absence has now made them so successful while AMD, freed from the continuous oppression of big bad Intel has fallen flat on their face? How has society been server by these years of litigation?
