Kenneth reminds me of the idiots who used to call in to Talk Radio programs. I haven't listened to them for years , but I guess the players don't change. Liberals desperately need the reassurance that they aren't alone and believe others want to be in the largest "group". The calls would all be variations of this:

I voted Republican all my life, but not now. I am voting Democrat...etc etc etc.
