trackman, that really hurts. if you took offense at my message it was not intended. all the money i ever won at racetrack i made the hard way. never a penney ever spent on tip sheets.

if that is what you were thinking what i was talking about then you missed it all. the tip sheets are sold at the gate and charge something - they never are free. and, everyone that is not brain dead knows they are sold by permission of the management for the amusement of the guests.

some are better than others. but which of the picks are the best? if you don't know then you have to play them all! heck if you want to cash a ticket in every race, then simply bet on every horse. if it turns out to be a-longshot-day you may just make money! say for example 10 races, averaging 12 horses each, you would then have to average more than 12-1 to turn a profit.

if you actually went to the belmont and bet all of the recommendations on any tip sheet, secretariat at 1-5 would hardly cover all of the losing bets on the other races. and, if you only went to play secretariat how is the tip sheet relevant!

if you want to assail me and my logic then you need a bit more rigor in your responses. making money in the stock market is much, much easier than at the racetrack. both can be beaten (i have done it), but neither by reading anybody's tip sheets nor by listening to touts.

i did not flame you! so what is the source of your hostility?
