Gotta love that win, especially if, like me, when watching the Yankees play, it is always a certainty who you are cheering for...and it's not the Yankees. Crazy game this with both starters facing many difficult situations, but Verlander ultimately prevailing, and demonstrating, in the 5th with three insane strikeouts, why he is currently the best pitcher in baseball! Not over yet, but gotta like it that Detroit has only to win 1 of 2 vs. Yankees daunting task of winning 2 out of two. Go Tigers!
