Because that's what happens a lot in the business world. Rather than cut back, find new sources, cheaper rent, landlord reduce the rent...I see businesses, every day...just get run into the ground and explode. When it could be prevented.

If the government cut enough to have current operating surpluses, how would that create even ONE job? Wouldn't it end millions of government jobs, explode unemployment, and merely accelerate our slide into depression?
