Well, that depends on why rates are going up. If they are going up because business conditions have improved, that is good for the market.

But, if they are going up because the currency is being trashed or this is doubt about the management/faith of government, that is different. Gold, guns, and ammo does well if that is why rates are rising.

Interesting that bonds smell something today, but the move is so small it is not significant.
