Z, I'm talking long-term, while you're focused on the effects of the Great Recession.

Let's say the recession ends tomorrow, and we get 4% annualized GDP growth for the next eight years. That means the middle class can grow and thrive once again.

Yet you'll still believe in policies that are rooted in fears of the middle class disappearing. All because there will always be someone richer than you, and there will always be someone poorer than you, but you'll never accept that reality.

It really isn't. I'm watching it happen right in front of my eyes. People losing jobs, people having their pay cut, people losing benefits, not being able to advance their careers. Good, smart, educated, hard-working people. Much worse than five years ago (which wasn't great), and certainly worse than 15 years ago, when it seemed everyone around me was getting dream jobs.

Its scary what's happening. The towel boys at my gym are now towel men and women. Two people on my street lost jobs in the last three months. And we're supposed to be doing better than the rest of the country.

I think the only thing that will wake up the tenches in this country are riots in the streets. They listen to power......nothing else.
