No way. It will leave tens of millions of seniors without the ability to afford health care and leave people's last ditch retirement income in the hands of the markets. I'm not sure how you can dispute that; what private insurers really will charge a senior citizen a reasonable amount for health insurance? Premiums go up with age. The only way it works is if premiums for seniors get sky high, but then the vouchers won't be able to cover that. And why would we want to put more in the hands of Wall Street than we already do? Of course, Wall Street is spending tens of millions of dollars (if not more) to make that happen.
