This silliness is disappointing coming from Freeman and Jackson, but... they are not getting paid for being smart or for having serious, thoughtful political views. They are actors.

If a person has a fractured hip, and is being examined by an excellent orthopedic surgeon, should that person give a rat's butt about the surgeon's political beliefs? With all respect, the same goes for actors. Just shut up and sing.

Jackson says that the tea Partier's racism is "obvious". The only thing that is obvious is that Jackson is not above throwing baseless accusations at people.
