your time frames are too large -- I was talking about the high THIS august. specifically the rate of change of it -- and also the period right before that spike, (I count about 5-6 red bars down -- the VIX response was pathetic then) when I said VIX had been too weak in its response -- I took profits there against my better judgement into a decline that turned out the next day into the small waterfall it became ... I believe there is a waterfall ahead of us as soon as we work off the oversold condition -- again.
