re Noble Group (NOBGF.PK_ - stock appears to be tanking in Singapore (down ~25%) , due to weak earnings - they actually had a loss in Q3 2011. I am not sure what to make of this - i don't own this stock and I am not likely to buy.

As I see it, revenues are up, balance sheet has expanded. leverage is way up and instead of profits we are seeing losses. CEO left, which sort of tells me that this may not be as transitory as they claimed.

Interesting enough, another value stock mentioned here NAM.AX which deals with cotton blew up a while ago due to volatility in cotton prices. Volatile prices are not always good for those dealing with this stuff or managing supply chains...
