I am for regulations and laws. Even more importantly, I'm for the Executive Branch doing their jobs and executing the laws on the books. Example: BP. The regulations and laws existed to prevent the BP disaster in the Gulf. It was the fact that the agency responsible was not executing the laws and regulations in good faith. In short, they were in bed with the oil industry. We see this in spades in the financial industry. Every agency from the SEC on down failed to regulate properly. And Obama is complicit in that he is the head of the Executive Branch and he has instructed Holder to hold his fire. During the S&L: crisis there were thousands of indictments that lead to hundreds of successful prosecutions and many heads of S&Ls went to jail and many S&Ls were seized, dismantled, and shut down. Where are the indictments? Where are the prosecutions? Where are the jail sentences? Why are the too big too fails, BIGGER than they were in 2008? This is a failure of the Executive Branch, as well as that of Congress. They are all bought and paid for by the financial industry. If was was a 100% Democrat, I would be spitting mad that I had been betrayed by my Democratic leaders. Those guys are doing what the GOP typically does. And yes, I blame the GOP for past actions that lead to this crisis. Hell, you EXPECT the GOP to act this way. But you don't expect it out of Dems. And yet, here they are acting just like the GOP. Screw them all. We need a third party.
